Personal Bio
Steve Tallen is an attorney at Gregerson, Rosow, Johnson & Nilan practicing in Municipal Prosecution and Criminal Defense. Mr. Tallen was a police officer with the City of Golden Valley from 1975 to 1985. Mr. Tallen attended William Mitchell College of Law starting in 1977, receiving his Juris Doctor Degree in 1981. Upon leaving the police department, he joined a law firm where he led their municipal prosecution department supervising seven attorneys representing nine municipalities in Hennepin County.
During his career, Mr. Tallen has appeared before the Minnesota Supreme Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals more than 40 times and has conducted hundreds of jury trials to completion. Mr. Tallen has also been a frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education seminars.
Mr. Tallen is the Prosecuting Attorney for the Cities of Medina, Loretto, Deephaven, Woodland, Orono, the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District, and Fridley Housing and Zoning violations.
In his spare time, Mr. Tallen enjoys traveling, road trips, spending time with his five grandchildren, and glass blowing.
